This policy describes how Meteopolis LLC ("Meteopolis," "we," "us") handles personal information collected through meteopolis.com.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional company name, project description, budget range, and timeline preference.

Automatically collected: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records page views, referrers, and aggregate device information without setting cookies or collecting personal identifiers. We do not use Google Analytics or any tracking that requires a consent banner.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information you submit only to:

• Respond to your inquiry and discuss potential engagements
• Send a project proposal or follow-up communications you request
• Maintain records of inquiries for our own business operations

3. Third Parties

We share data only with these processors, and only as needed to operate the site:

• Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, content delivery, and analytics
• Google Workspace — email service for hello@meteopolis.com
• Resend — transactional email service for delivering contact-form submissions

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Retention

Inquiry submissions are retained for up to twelve months from the date of submission, then deleted from our active inbox. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@meteopolis.com. We will respond within thirty days.

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. EU/UK residents have rights under the GDPR. We honor these rights for all users regardless of location.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect personal information, including HTTPS in transit and access controls on our processor accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we minimize what we collect and retain in part to limit risk.

7. Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently received such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be summarized at the top of this page for at least thirty days.
